Spring has officially sprung in Trinity County, and you know what that means—it’s planting season at Hash & Flowers! There’s palpable excitement in the air as our dedicated team dives back into what we do best: nurturing premium cannabis under the perfect California sun.
This year, we’re fully embracing old-school, full-term outdoor cultivation, true to California’s rich cannabis heritage. You’d find our team busy preparing organic, living soil beds, checking irrigation systems, and gently transplanting our promising seedlings. These carefully chosen genetics will soon mature into towering, resin-rich cannabis plants—often exceeding ten feet tall!
We’re especially excited about the genetics we’re working with this season. Expect the return of beloved favorites like the award-winning Cranberry Zkittlez, celebrated for its berry-candy aroma, and Poochie’s Papaya, a standout from previous seasons noted for its tropical, terpene-rich profile. Additionally, we’re introducing some captivating new banana and citrus crosses aimed at producing extraordinary new flavors perfect for solventless concentrates.
Conditions couldn’t be more ideal this year. With abundant natural water from a wet winter, our plants have everything they need to thrive. The early season’s careful pest and mold management, along with our regenerative farming practices, ensures a strong start. There’s a sense that 2025 could be an exceptional year, building off the momentum from our recent Golden Bear award.
Culturally, planting season is a sacred ritual for us—a time to reconnect with the roots of cannabis cultivation and community. From exchanging seeds and clones with neighboring growers to collective wishes for a bountiful harvest, we’re honored to carry forward Northern California’s storied cannabis tradition.
